Oregon National Guard Tech. Sgt. Eric Hubbard, team leader and
training Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge for the 142nd Fighter Wing Explosive Ordnance Disposal
unit, helps lift a tent in place in preparation for the 2017 Disaster
Management Engagement Activity (DMEA) held in Hanoi, Vietnam, August 5, 2017. Hubbard
and other members of the Oregon National Guard’s CBRNE Enhanced
Response Force Package (CERFP) along with U.S. Marine Corps III Marine
Expeditionary Force worked together during a week long exercise to
share information and tactics for chemical disaster response with
their partners in Vietnam’s National Committee for Incident, Disaster
