Oregon National Guard Cpt. Matt Keelin, a nurse with the Oregon
National Guard’s CBRNE Enhanced Response Force Package (CERFP),
bridges the language barrier through chess games during a break in
presentations during the 2017 Disaster Management Engagement Activity
(DMEA) held in Hanoi, Vietnam, August 9, 2017. The CERFP worked
alongside representatives from the U.S. Marine Corps in order to share
information and tactics for chemical disaster response with their
