Col. Frank David II, commander of 71st Ordnance Group (Explosive Ordnance Disposal), gives Mimi Hunter, wife of Capt. Tyrone Hunter, assigned to 4th Infantry Division, a certificate and flowers for her dedicated support to her husband’s career during a post retirement ceremony Sept. 27, 2017, inside the William “Bill” Reed special events center at Fort Carson, Colo. The Hunter family was one of eight families honored at the ceremony. The ceremony is held each month to show appreciation for Soldiers exiting the military and allows friends, family members and coworkers an opportunity to celebrate in the Soldiers’ decades-long achievements.
