71st Ordnance Group (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) Commander, Col. Frank Davis II, and Command Sergeant Major, Command Sgt. Maj. Weston West, pose for a photo with Sgt. 1st Class Edward Hinojosa, assigned to 2nd Battalion, 77th Field Artillery Regiment, and the Hinojosa family during a post retirement ceremony Sept. 27, 2017, inside the William “Bill” Reed special events center at Fort Carson, Colo. The Hinojosa family was one of eight families honored at the ceremony. The ceremony is held each month to show appreciation for Soldiers exiting the military and allows friends, family members and coworkers an opportunity to celebrate in the Soldiers’ decades-long achievements.
