MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter aircrew members, from Coast Guard Air Station Kodiak, Alaska, lower a fuel hose during flight operations in the Arctic, Monday, Sept. 11, 2017.

The fuel hose was used as part of in-flight refueling practice, which in a real scenario is used by helicopter crews to safely refuel from a cutter to extend their search and rescue capabilities.
