Coast Guard Petty Officer 2nd Class Ed Traver and Coast Guard Seaman Grayden Boad retrieve a bongo net tow after they had been deployed behind the Coast Guard Cutter Healy as part of research operations in the Arctic, Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2017

Used primary to collect samples of zooplankton, this tow consists of four collection nets and is comprised of two larger nets and two smaller nets, with the smaller nets also made out of a finer mesh.
