An Air Force member helps a small child from a chartered aircraft that arrived at Travis Air Force Base, Calif., March 25 from Japan. Following the earthquake and tsunami that hit Japan, March 11, hundreds of family members from military bases in Japan voluntarily relocated to the United States after radiation from crippled Japanese nuclear energy plants was detected in some areas. The evacuation effort was part of Operation Pacific Passage.
