Julio Cesar Mendoza, a Salvadoran engineering soldier, looks on during Beyond the Horizon 2011. Salvadoran soldiers, supported by U.S. Army Guard units from around the country, including Air Force and Navy Seabee units, are participating in a 4-month-long civic assistance and training exercise that will build Salvadoran infrastructure, give U.S. soldiers valuable training and strengthen U.S.-Salvadoran relations.
