CAMP HANSEN, OKINAWA, Japan – A Marine with the Provost Marshal’s Office loads a magazine with rounds before a Special Reaction Team Special Effects Small Arms Marking System Tactic Based Training range Nov. 22 at Combat Town, Okinawa, Japan. SRT Marines use these ranges with SESAMS rounds to instill confidence in their team’s ability to make timely decisions under pressure. SESAM rounds have plastic paste-filled tips that leave a mark where they hit, allowing SRT Marines and their supervisors to track their accuracy. SRT Marines completed basic room entry drills and building clearing tactics under the supervision of safety officers and Navy Corpsmen. (U.S Marine photo by Lance Corporal Tayler P. Schwamb)
