CAMP HANSEN, OKINAWA, Japan – Cpl. Marcus Edwards clears a balcony during a Special Reaction Team Special Effects Small Arms Marking System Tactic Based Training range Nov. 22 at Combat Town, Okinawa, Japan. SRT Marines used SESAMS, paste-filled rounds that leave marks where they hit, under the supervision of safety officers and Navy Corpsmen. In-between each basic room entry and building clearing tactic drills the Marines were briefed on their performance, and how to improve in the future. Edwards is a member of SRT with the Provost Marshal’s Office, Headquarters and Support Battalion, Marine Corps Installations Pacific-Marine Corps Base Camp Butler, Japan.
