SCHOFIELD BARRACKS, Hawaii – Chief Warrant Officer 3 Gregory Benson, an Airdrop Systems Technician with the 25th Sustainment Brigade, looks for proper identification markers on a Kahuku Training Area drop zone December 12, during a low cost low altitude (LCLA) air delivery exercise. The LCLA delivery method is used to resupply on-ground troops at less of cost and higher accuracy than a high altitude airdrop making it the preferred method for light-weight supplies.
