MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. – Cpl. Brooklynn Swift, a Motor Transportation Operator with Combat Logistics Battalion 11, conducts a patrol on San Clemente Island during exercise Iron Fist 2018, Jan. 30. Often times Marines will conduct patrols, medical or other skills training when free time presents itself in the field. Iron Fist is an annual, bilateral training exercise where U.S. and Japanese service members train together and share techniques, tactics and procedures to improve their combined operational capabilities.
