Retired Lt. Col. Michael “Kiwi” Kelly accompanied the 47 Marines on their trip to Belleau Wood as their official tour guide. He pointed out the wheat fields where the Marines fought in World War I and gave briefs on the many battles that took place in the first few weeks of June in 1918.
