180331-N-PH222-0028 PACIFIC OCEAN (March 31, 2018) Boatswain’s Mate 2nd Class Emmanuel Morgan, from Lawrenceville, Ga., greases a sliding pad eye in the boat valley of San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock USS Anchorage (LPD 23) in preparation for underway replenishment. Anchorage is underway with 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) for an amphibious squadron and MEU integration (PMINT) exercise. PMINT is a training evolution between Essex Amphibious Ready Group and 13th MEU, which allows Sailors and Marines to train as a cohesive unit in preparation for their upcoming deployment.
