Chief Warrant Officer 4 Dandon Fonner, Beachmaster Unit 1 Detachment WESTPAC officer-in-charge, briefs Australian army dignitaries of the work his team has done with their Australian counterparts during a visit to the forward-deployed amphibious dock landing ship USS Germantown. Germantown, commanded by Cmdr. A.D. Hull, is participating with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit in exercise Talisman Sabre 2011, a bilateral command post and field training exercise designed to maintain a high level of interoperability between U.S. and Australian forces.
