DAHLGREN, Va. – The AC-130 Gun Ships Block 20 Precision Strike Package Initial Operational Capability and Deployment Team is pictured prior to receiving the Technology to Warfighter Award from Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) leadership at the command’s annual honor awards ceremony on April 26, 2018. Team members were recognized for their extraordinary efforts to deploy the Block 20 capability. Under this team’s leadership, the entire system was updated to address evolving requirements, thoroughly tested, and qualified for operational use, according to the citation. Air Force Special Operations Command AC-130 Gun Ships are more capable than ever due to this team's high degree of dedication, perseverance, and technical integrity.
