DAHLGREN, Va. (April 26, 2018) – Carol Lee holds the Award of Excellence for Software Engineering and Integration moments after receiving it from Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) leadership at the command’s annual honor awards ceremony. Lee was recognized for her leadership and technical contributions to software assurance. As the Navy’s leading subject matter expert for software assurance, she established a team of software engineers that created infrastructure, processes, training, and tools to provide software assurance services across the Department of Defense. Her insight, expertise, and dedication have established NSWCDD as a center of excellence in software assurance, according to the citation.
