DAHLGREN, Va. – The E and H Departments Acquisition Team is pictured prior to receiving the Award of Merit for Group Achievement from Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) leadership at the command’s annual honor awards ceremony on April 26, 2018. Team members were recognized for working a strategy which culminated in the issuance of four contract awards in less than six months. This extremely short turn-around time required many long hours which exceeded all expectations and demonstrated the Dahlgren Acquisition Team’s excellence and commitment to ensuring continuity of the NSWCDD mission, according to the citation. “E” is the NSWCDD Gun and Electric Weapon Systems Department while “H” is the command’s Weapons Control and Integration Department.
