Col. Patrick M. Garman relinquished command of Evans Army Community Hospital on May 22 during the unit’s change of command ceremony. Garman passes the unit’s colors to Maj. Gen. Thomas R. Tempel, Jr., Regional Health Command-Central, commander. Col. Eric S. Edwards assumed command once the colors were passed to him during the ceremony on Founders Field at Fort Carson, Co. The ceremony was attended by Medical Department Activity-Fort Carson Soldiers and the Regional Health Command-Central command team who welcomed Edwards and his wife, Renee.
