U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Heriberto Collazogomez, a ground electronics transmission systems maintainer with 2nd Assault Amphibian Battalion (AABn), 2nd Marine Division, holds a tri-fold American flag for a Memorial Day ceremony during a deployment for training (DFT) exercise at Fort Stewart, Ga., May 28, 2018. Collazogomez prepared to pass off the flag to Lt. Col. Aaron Lloyd to honor the fallen service members from the battalion. The DFT is to maintain proficiency in landing the surface assault element during amphibious operations to inland objectives and with conduction mechanized operations and related combat support in operations ashore.
