Burton, commanding officer for Marine Corps Air Station New River, congratulates the Marines of the Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training Marine Unit New River for receiving the Energy Efficiency Initiative award from the MCAS New River Unit Energy Manager Program, July 18. In April 2017, MCAS New River started the MCAS New River Energy Efficiency Initiative to have Marines only use the energy they need to accomplish the mission and now the UEMP is awarding units that conserve the most energy.
