Members of the Marine Corps Air Station New River Unit Energy Manager Program awarded a $4,000 check to the Center for Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training Marine Unit New River for receiving the Energy Efficiency Initiative award, July 18. In April 2017, MCAS New River started the MCAS New River Energy Efficiency Initiative to have Marines only use the energy they need to accomplish the mission, and now the Unit Energy Manager Program is awarding units that conserve the most energy. The money CNATT MARU received will go toward the unit’s Family Readiness Officers’ funds to improve morale and troop welfare. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl. Breanna Weisenberger)
