Former commanders of the New York Army National Guard's 42nd Infantry Division, stand to be recognized at a ceremony honoring the 100th anniversay of the divison's particiaption in the Oisne- Aisen Campaign held at theat the Oise- Aisne American Cemetery in Seringes et Nesles France on July 28 2018. Twenty-five Soldiers from the 42nd Infantry Division were in France from July 24-29 to take part in events commemorating the division's role-- and the role of the U.S. Army-- in World War I.
