The gravesite of Pvt. Horace Rigsby, a member of the 167th Infantry Regiment of the Alabama National Guard at the Oise- Aisne American Cemetery in Seringes et Nesles, France marked with flags of the United States, France, and the Rainbow Division Veterans Foundation on July 28, 2018. The cemetery was the site of a 100 anniversary of the 42nd Division-- now an element of the New York Army National Guard-- in the Oise-Aisne Campaign 100 years ago. Twenty-five Soldiers from the 42nd Infantry Division were in France from July 24-29 to take part in events commemorating the division's role-- and the role of the U.S. Army-- in World War I.
