    A French boy marks the grave of an American buried at Oise- Aisne American Cemetery in Seringes et Nesles, France on July 29, 2018. He was attending a ceremony marking the participation of the 42nd Division in the campaign 100 years ago. The division is now an element of the New York National Guard.Twenty-five Soldiers from the 42nd Infantry Division were in France from July 24-29 to take part in events commemorating the division's role-- and the role of the U.S. Army-- in World War I.
