Retired Major General Joseph Taluto, the president of the Rainbow Division Veterans Foundation speaks during a ceremony commemorating the 100th anniversary of the 167th Regiment (Alabama National Guard) of the 42nd "Rainbow" Divison's fight at the Croix Rouge Farm in Fère-en-Tardenois, France on July 29, 2018. The fight was one of the bloodiest battles of the division. Twenty-five Soldiers from the 42nd Infantry Division were in France from July 24-29 to take part in events commemorating the division's role-- and the role of the U.S. Army-- in World War I.
