Major General Anthony German, the Adjutant General of New York (rear) ischauffeured to a ceremony commemorating the 100th anniversary of the 167th Regiment (Alabama National Guard) of the 42nd "Rainbow" Divison's fight at the Croix Rouge Farm in Fère-en-Tardenois, France on July 29, 2018 in a classic World War I period French car. The Croix Rouge Farm battle was one of the division's bloodiest. Twenty-five Soldiers from the 42nd Infantry Division were in France from July 24-29 to take part in events commemorating the division's role-- and the role of the U.S. Army-- in World War I.
