NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (July 30, 2018) Aviation Ordnanceman 2nd Class Mitchell Cameron, from Attleboro, Massachusetts, assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford’s (CVN 78) weapons department, receives his certificate of appointment to the rank of petty officer second class from Capt. Richard McCormack, Ford’s commanding officer. Cameron was promoted following his selection for the Meritorious Advancement Program.
