NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (July 30, 2018) Aviation Ordnanceman 2nd Class Heather Rockholt, from Rock Hill, South Carolina, assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford’s (CVN 78) weapons department, receives her certificate of appointment to the rank of petty officer second class from Capt. Richard McCormack, Ford’s commanding officer. Rockholt was promoted following her selection for the Meritorious Advancement Program.
