David Turner with 3rd Low Altittude Air Battalion provides security during a quick reaction force drill aboard SS Curtiss Sept. 10, 2018, in preperation for Valiant Shield. Valiant Shield is a biennial, U.S.-only field training exercise (FTX) with a focus on integration of joint training among U.S. forces in relation to current operational plans.
