U.S. Marine Corps Staff Sgt. Todd Gibbons, with 1st Law Enforcement Battalion, I Marine Expeditionary Force Information Group briefs his Marines aboard the SS Curtiss Sept. 10, 2018, in preperation for exercise Valiant Shield. Valiant Shield is a biennial, U.S.-only field training exercise (FTX) with a focus on integration of joint training among U.S. forces in relation to current operational plans.
