An AH-1W Super Cobra helicopter with Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 773 provides support during a Joint Tactical Recovery of Aircraft and Personnel exercise held Oct. 15 here. The Joint TRAP exercise tested the reservists’ ability to recover downed aircrews behind enemy lines. Marines with the Marine Aircraft Group 49 organize, train and equip combat-ready squadrons to augment and reinforce the active Marine forces in time of war, national emergency or contingency operations.
