Staff Sgt. Michael Setterfield, a crew chief with the Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 773, looks out the side of the UH-1 Iroquois Gunship, ready to provide cover fire with the M240 machine gun during a Joint Tactical Recovery of Aircraft and Personnel exercise Oct. 15 here. The Joint TRAP exercise tested the Reservists’ ability to recover downed-aircrew members behind enemy lines and return them to a safe location. Marines with the Marine Aircraft Group 49 organize, train and equip combat ready squadrons to augment and reinforce the active Marine forces in time of war, national emergency or contingency operations.
