Staff Sgt. Michael Setterfield, a crew chief with the Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 773, looks out over the New Jersey landscape as the UH-1 Iroquois Gunship heads toward the objective during a Joint Tactical Recovery of Aircraft and Personnel exercise held Oct. 15 here. The UH-1 Iroquois Gunship crew chiefs provided machine gun fire, while the AH-1W Super Cobra helicopter pilots used rockets to hold back enemy forces. The Joint TRAP exercise tested the Reservists’ ability to recover downed aircrew from behind enemy lines. Setterfield hails from Sonora, Calif. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman Ryan Throneberry)
