Retired Major Paul Eden is competing at the 2019 Air Force Trials at Nellis AFB, Nev. The swim competition was held at the University Nevada Las Vegas Buchanan Natatorium. The Air Force Wounded Warrior Program (AFW2) has held their competition there since 2015 and receives incredible support from the local community. Air Force Trials is a Paralympic-style competitive event featuring eleven adaptive sports. It has a two-fold purpose, one is to select the 40-person primary and 10-person alternate members for Team Air Force. The second is to highlight the effectiveness of adaptive sports in aiding wounded warriors in their recovery and long-term resiliency. (U.S. Air Force Photo by Shawn Sprayberry)
