The tail fin of a U.S. Air Force KC-135 laying on the hangar floor at the unit’s main hangar in Sioux City, Iowa on March 21, 2019. Because of structural damage to the Stratotankers rudder the entire 25 foot structure needed to be removed and repaired. This is the first time the 185th maintenance group has removed a tail at the Sioux City, Iowa maintenance facility.
