MPF offloads provide the Marines Corps the ability to distribute equipment and assets to service members in deployed environments through the Indo-Pacific region at a moment’s notice. Balikatan is a Tagalog phrase that means “shoulder-to-shoulder” and is an annual exercise between the U.S. military and the Armed Forces of the Philippines.
