SAN ANTONIO – (April 25, 2019) Rear Adm. Tina Davidson of St. Louis, commander, Navy Medicine Education, Training, and Logistics Command (NMETLC) located on Joint Base San Antonio–Fort Sam Houston, administered the oath of enlistment to 20 future Sailors of Navy Recruiting District (NRD) San Antonio during Navy Day at the Alamo. Davidson also served as the keynote speaker during the event. Other activities conducted during Navy Day were Navy Reserve Officer Training Corps scholarship check presentations by Navy Recruiting District (NRD) San Antonio, a display of Navy Corpsmen from Navy Medicine Training Support Center (NMTSC), demonstrations from Master-at-Arms Sailors and military working dogs (MWD) of Naval Technical Training Center (NTTC) Lackland, funeral honors by Naval Operational Support Center (NOSC) San Antonio, along a color guard provided by Navy Information Operations Command (NIOC) Texas.
