JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (July 15, 2019) – Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class Ronald Rhea, a physical therapy technician at Naval Hospital Jacksonville, helps retired Navy Petty Officer 1st Class Richard Trecida with rehabilitation after knee replacement surgery. Rhea, a native of Denver, Colorado, helped lead the Navy to win in the Armed Forces Basketball Championship in June. “My approach to care is to help improve the lives of, and honor those, who serve. I strive to compete that way too. I play at the level I do in honor of those who serve that can’t play, or run, or walk.” The Navy team will represent the U.S. in the 7th International Military Sports Council Military World Games held later this year in China.
