SAN DIEGO (Sept. 18, 2019) R. Rox Anderson, a professor and dermatologist at Harvard Medical School, delivers a presentation on the UltraPulse fractional CO2 laser to military and civilian medical staff at Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD) Sept. 18. The presentation took place as part of Project C.A.R.E. (Comprehensive Advanced Restorative Effort) Summit 2019, which featured both military and civilian leaders, as well as clinical experts from a multitude of medical and surgical disciplines, to display research and technology pertaining to all aspects of restorative care. NMCSD's mission is to prepare service members to deploy in support of operational forces, deliver high quality healthcare services and shape the future of military medicine through education, training, and research. NMCSD employs more than 6,000 active duty military personnel, civilians and contractors in Southern California to provide patients with world-class care anytime, anywhere.
