SAN DIEGO (Sept. 18, 2019) Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class Andres Castaneda practices using an UltraPulse fractional CO2 laser during a presentation at Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD) Sept. 18. The presentation took place as part of Project C.A.R.E. (Comprehensive Advanced Restorative Effort) Summit 2019, which features military and civilian leaders, and clinical experts from a multitude of medical and surgical disciplines, to display research and technology pertaining to all aspects of restorative care. NMCSD's mission is to prepare service members to deploy in support of operational forces, deliver high quality healthcare services and shape the future of military medicine through education, training, and research.
