On the outskirts of Launch Complex 14, a memorial built to honor the Mercury program and the “original seven” program astronauts. Buried underneath the memorial is a time capsule, set to be open in 2464, that is said to contain Project Mercury artifacts, photos, film footage, capsule blueprints and even John Glenn's Marine Corps pilot's wings.
