A faint ‘U.S. Air Force’ can be seen on the side of the side of the Gemini capsule at the Air Force Space Museum at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Fla. Both flights of this Gemini capsule were unmanned but the casupule was used to test if hot gases could penetrate the space surrounding the hatch and destroy it during re-entry into Earth.(U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Zoe Thacker)
