Staff Sgt. Christine Sulwer, J4 Logistics, Task Force Guardian Arizona, Arizona Air National Guard, begins sewing one of the surgical masks that will be distributed to the Soldiers and Airmen of Task Force Guardian (TFG) Arizona at the Combined Surface Maintenance Shops (CSMS) on Papago Park Military Reservation in Phoenix, Ariz., on April 10, 2020.
The five Soldiers and Airmen who volunteered to produce the masks for the Guardsmen of TFG did so to ensure those on the task force have the personal protection equipment necessary to continue supporting Customs and Border Protection. The project concluded on April 29, with 1300 surgical masks being produced by the volunteers.
