U.S. Customs and Border Protection's final UH-1N 'Huey' helicopter is captured moments after passing through an honorary water-cannon as it hover-taxis in to position for its final landing with Air and Marine Operations, El Paso Air Branch, July 29, 2020. The landing marked the end of the helicopters' illustrious career supporting CBPs law-enforcement operations. The aircraft shown, N7247N, was previously operated by the U.S. Marine Corps as Bureau # 160836. AMOs El Paso Air Branch is located at the El Paso International Airport and supports a vast territory covering New Mexico, West Texas and Oklahoma. The crew was met by gathered family, friends and co-workers who celebrated the momentous occasion. The UH-1N helicopters will be sold on the commercial market with the money returned to support other aircraft maintenance and sustainment programs.
