U.S. Customs and Border Protection's UH-1N 'Huey' helicopter performs hover checks above the ramp as it begins its final flight with Air and Marine Operations, El Paso Air Branch, July 29, 2020. In the background can be seen other UH-1Ns which have already been removed from service or are used for parts in sustaining the medium-lift helicopters performing CBPs law-enforcement operations. The aircraft shown, N7247N, was previously operated by the U.S. Marine Corps as Bureau # 160836. AMOs El Paso Air Branch is located at the El Paso International Airport and supports a vast territory covering New Mexico, West Texas and Oklahoma. The aircraft and crew received an honorary water-cannon salute and the crew was met by gathered family, friends and co-workers who celebrated the occasion. The UH-1N helicopters will be sold on the commercial market with the money returned to support other aircraft maintenance and sustainment programs.
