Three U.S. Customs and Border Protection UH-1N 'Huey' helicopters wear black and gold markings while two aircraft used for parts cannibalization wear their final U.S. Marine Corps colors and protective coverings from their time in storage at Davis-Monthan AFB, Arizona. The CBP colored aircraft were operated by Air and Marine Operations, El Paso Air Branch, with the final UH-1Ns flight taking place in the morning of July 29, 2020. AMOs El Paso Air Branch is located at the El Paso International Airport and supports a vast territory covering New Mexico, West Texas and Oklahoma. The UH-1N helicopters will be sold on the commercial market with the money returned to support other aircraft maintenance and sustainment programs.
