Gunnery Sgt. Seth A. Strait, explosive ordnance disposal technician, 7th Engineer Support Battalion, 1st Marine Logistics Group, receives the Marine Corps Engineer Associations Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician of the Year award from Brig. Gen. Bobbi Shea, Commanding General of the 1st MLG, at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, Aug. 20, 2020. The award is presented annually to an EOD technician who exhibited considerable superiority within their field. From improving working relationships between local security forces, special operations forces and the local populace, to exploiting the largest enemy explosives cache in the area of operations, Gunnery Sgt.
