Cpl. Zachariah Kable, motor transportation operator, 7th Engineer Support Battalion, 1st Marine Logistics Group, receives the Marine Corps Association and Foundation Motor Transportation Operations Non-Commissioned Officer of the Year award from Brig. Gen. Bobbi Shea, the commanding general, 1st MLG, at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, Aug. 20, 2020. The award is presented annually to a motor transportation NCO who exceeds expectations within their field. As the vehicle recovery team lead, Cpl. Kable outperformed all other motor transportation operators within the battalion, safely operating five different vehicles over 7,000 miles while concurrently transporting over 3 million pounds of cargo and over 300 personnel.
