View of the Visitor Center at Monmouth Battlefield State Park, located at Manalapan, N.J., July 7, 2021. The Center is located on Combs Hill where Maj. Gen. Nathaniel Greene’s Continental Army artillery forced the withdrawal of British troops at the Battle of Monmouth, June 28, 1778. It was last battle of Philadelphia campaign during the American Revolutionary War. The Park was dedicated June 28, 1978, the battle’s bicentennial.
